We are a philanthropic organization of women leaders in the fields of food, fine beverage and hospitality. The by-invitation membership, composed of over 2,300 members in 40 chapters in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom and Mexico, is highly diversified and reflects the multifaceted fields of contemporary gastronomy and hospitality.

Mark your calendars for March 14-18, 2018, as the LDEI-Mexico Chapter is proud to invite you to the second “Flavors of Mexico” experience. It will take place in the majestic city of Merida in the state of Yucatan, Mexico.
Day 1: Upon on arrival, on Wednesday March 14th, each Dame will be greeted at the airport and transferred directly to the Hyatt Regency, a 5-star hotel in Merida for check in. Later that evening, everyone will enjoy a ride on a Caleta a typical horse carriage of Merida while enjoying ” La Danza del Cochino” arriving to our welcome dinner at “La Tradición” an awarded Michelin Star Restaurant by Chef David Cetina .
Day 2: Everyone will enjoy breakfast at the hotel, and as a group, we will travel to one of the 7 wonders of the world, Chichen Itza, followed by lunch at a traditional Cantina Eladios where everyone will enjoy Merida’s concept of Tapas. Once at the hotel everyone will have a few hours for a well-deserved Siesta or a little shopping before an evening of Molecular cuisine by Chef Pedro Evia at the recognize Kuuk Restaurant
Day 3: Everyone will enjoy breakfast at the hotel, and as a group our first stop will be the Mercado, where everyone will be in teams and will buy a few items for a later cooking demonstration. After the visit to the Mercado we will enjoy a private tour in the only life Henequen Plantation followed by swim for those that choose to in a Cenote a (Sinkhole that contains groundwater very typical of Yucatan) Followed by a cooking demonstration and Lunch. Once at the hotel everyone will have a few hours for a well-deserved Siesta or a little more shopping before an evening at Municipal Presidency for a private dinner.
Day 4: Everyone will enjoy Breakfast at the hotel, and as a group we will travel to a little town only 25 kilometers away where we will enjoy a private cooking class from Las Mujeres Mayas (the Mayan women) this class will end with a delicious and decadent lunch. Everyone will have a few hours for a well-deserved Siesta or a last minute shopping before a VIP dinner at the Majestic Hacienda Teya.
Day 5: Check out and Airport Transfers.

Registration fee includes:
Regency Club hotel accommodations at all of the hotels on the itinerary
Airport transfers and transportation to event venues
All meals, many of which include wine and/or tequila
**Additional nights before and after are available based on occupancy and will have to be pre-paid separately.
**Airport transfers are available only during the event designated dates
Cancellations will be accepted until January 10, 2018 and subject to a $500 processing fee. After that date, there will be no refunds.
**Minor Modifications to the program may occur due to weather, or space availability
