Criteria for Membership

• Women of outstanding ability who have achieved recognition and
a significant reputation in their field as well as in the community at
large for their activities.

• Women dedicated to furthering the role of women in the
profession of food, wine and hospitality.

• Women who have exhibited integrity in their work and who will
not use the organization for personal gain or profit.

• Women who will make a positive contribution to Les Dames
d’Escoffier: devote time and energy to its activities, work
harmoniously with others, attend the minimum of three meetings
each year and support the fund raising efforts.

Qualifications for Membership

Our members are outstanding women with at least seven years
professional experience in the arts of the table who have
distinguished themselves in their fields. Chefs, teachers, authors,
writers, editors, hotel executives, purveyors, restaurateurs, culinary
public relations specialists and food artists are all represented. For
